http://www.123rc.net - Just in, heres the first part of the build of my new Multiplex Xeno flying wing! http://www.123rc.net is where I'll be reviewing it and posting the build photo's too.

Heres the initial unboxing and installation of the LED's inside the foam wings, and how I did it.

  • woo go leeds model shop

  • @minameisjake Totally, they are one of the FEW who take mail order seriously, and list absolutely EVERYTHING you could need on their website, right down to nuts/bolts, the works.... AND they post the same or next day! Something a lot of others dont do, making their websites useless.

  • @123RCUK ye there just a couple of junctions up the m1 to us and they are very good, were do u live

  • @minameisjake Says where I live on my channel page bud... If you have a review of them, why not drop in @ 123rc.co.uk and tell us all about it?

  • Very inventive on the lights! Are you going to sand off those elapor molds? I did that with my EZG and my freind's EZ* because some people on the forums said removing them will decrease drag.

  • @E744763Productions No, the amount of drag they "might" cause will be so minimal, the effort put in will not produce an equal benefit, and now I've spray painted it, its hardly noticable. The lights work good, so will be making a pre-flight video-diary update before sundays hopeful maiden flight.

  • @joehandsome99 Hiya Eric, thanks, I'm hoping it will be a nice fun model to fly slowly at first, and I've painted it my customary yellow/red, just need to laquer it before flight to protect the paint job, but its now ready for laquer and I finally got the prop-adapter problem sorted out today as the original it came with kept falling off it, and thats without even leaving the room, let alone flying it. Pre-flight video-diary update before sunday is due too...

  • @frogbmth I have tested the lights with a 12v gel battery and they work REALLY well, but so far havent been able to fly it due to problems with the motor/spinner assembly which has just been rectified today. Its now all painted too, so I'll be doing a pre-flight update any day now...

  • Nice video, I have loads of fun with my Xeno. How well do the lights show - got them wired up yet? Be very interested to see them working :-)

  • ...

Looks like it will be fast.

Looking forward to the maiden flight.

    Thumbs Up ~ Eric
