the reson i said all those because i reply to some of the khmer surin try to blem of the khmer krom, said that khmer krom done nothing for the khmer people....

How ever khmer in america is khmer immigrant but khmer in Siam is khmer own the land...as you can see how about khmer krom yourn control 300 rears but khmer krom keep fighting never sleep like khmer surin...

The Khmer of khukan join the lao in rebellion against the Siam king. Also other Khmer in the provinces under Siam rule rebell in 1902. That's in the past though, y not live in peace. Y bring war when Khmer people are doing just fine. Maybe Khmer in Thailand have a better life than Khmer in Vietnam. Stop hate, listen to music. Make love not war. We are all humans! It doesn't matter if you are Khmer, Lao, Thai, Hmong, Kuy, Viet, etc...Us Khmer love drama too much!

How many Khmer in America can write in Khmer? Khmer in Thailand have been apart of Thailand for over 200 years. Thai script was in use in Battambang, Siem Reap, Srok Soay(sisophon) when that area was under Thai rule.

honestly, if you're Laos or Thai... chances are... you'r going to have some Khmer blood in you. Khmer's been around before the raise of Siam or LanXang... or pretty much before the Tai people arrived. It's obvious, you can see it in Laos/Thai culture. Especially when a group settles for so many hundred years... there's going to be intermarriage. Especially if you're from Southern Laos. That area used to be part of Kingdom of Chenla (before it became Kingdom of Khmer).

I like this song b/c she is singing about Cambodia and all of its people. I'm Lao and Khmer Loeu (Lur) and I'm glad her lyrics mentions Khmer Krom and Lur. I think Khmer Surin is easy to listen to, then again my dad is Lao and we have Thai friends, I think I'm used to those accents.

Yes Thailand have over 60 ethnic but khmer must be a major ethnic in Thai since we da first people to be in southeast and other reasons . I don't get why u hate Khmer so much that on tv or anything u take a Chinese Thai ethnic to represent ur people . Doesn't Siam broke off from Khmer empire and have ayuthia Kingdom . U Thai trying to forget ur own root. I been to Thailand and I see more people looking more Khmer than the east Asian looking.

I' v been remarking that most of the thaÏ artists and the ThaÏ people never talk bad about Khmere ; but theirs politicians did ! So i wonder that the politic of ThaÏ want to destroy Khmere .( If they can eliminate khmere from this earth,one day, They have no any more a nightmare : They have no more a bad reputatuion about using the numbers etc.., nowaday , that they write like Khmere 's numbers .
