  • Love this video. Does the dance have a name.

  • Yes, it is the Pata Pata, made famous by Miriam Makeba´s song Pata Pata. A dance from South Africa.

  • a white south African in Sweden... O I love my country...So sad we have Zumas and Malemas and people that try to "serve" SA for their own gain. I'm going back in 3 weeks. Videos like these and my black friends back home is proof that SA has a future. All blacks are not incompentent and all Whites are not racist. Let's make SA what the "original" freedom charter stand for.

  • Greetings from Kenya. Great stuff. This piece is awesome. Wish someone could post "weeping"

  • What a happiness in the music!

Febr 29:th 2012 and it is sunshine in Stockholm.

  • good stuff

  • This takes me back all the way to my student days - man, where have all the years gone?

  • i love soooooo much .... INCREDIBLE!!!!!

Pata Pata .... now i know what it is .... you learn something new everyday :D

  • @AnotherSceptic I'm not South African so I don't know the situation as well as you, but I find it strange that you should only mention Zuma and Malema, both members of the ANC. from all that I've read, the Boers and apartheid laws had MUCH more to do with repressing South Africa than the ANC who are simply fighting for their indigenous land and civil rights.

  • Sjoe dis lekker!

  • this is a message of a people with strength in mind and soul.the dance could be township jive or tsaba tsaba. all in all ,no rythm like this, just super.

  • I just love this song!

  • Saw the guys doing a show on the weekend. Truly great. There is nothing in the world that compares to the music of South Africa. The blend of these essentially eurocentric instruments and the vibe of African sounds are truly magic. Can't wait for a chance to get the guys to do a gig for me. what a party that would be !!!

  • best ever!!!!!they performed it in Kenya in september for the safaricom classical fusion and it rocked..havent danced that hard
