aight, first off, you'll really wanna compress the video. If you don't, it'll get HUGE file sizes and you'll probably run out of RAM. To change the sound settings, go to options -> sound and click on 44 Khz. I usually play it non-full screen but idk if it records at full screen or at default resolution.
