i usually accept your opinions but not this time. nothig will make me change my mind about shots like this. my body is designed to take care of flus as long as i take care of my body. the flu shot is like a diet pill - it's a lousy shortcut that cuases more harm than good. just eat your damn veggies!

@risensation Additionally, the preservative containing mercury "thimerosal" has been removed from all vaccines for children under 7 years of age except seasonal influenza vaccines which are required by the FDA to contain no more than 1 microgram. To put some of this in perspective if you consume 6 ounces of tuna, you have consumed 52.7 micrograms of methylmercury. The equivalent of receiving 52 influenza vaccinations.

@risensation I have to disagree quite firmly. Conclusive scientific research has found absolutely no evidence to support any such link whatsoever. To date, all research is in fact pointing towards autism originating in the womb and being genetic. And to support my case:

@indigojack99 - how long has the human race been on earth? how long have we had flu shots? already knowing the answers to those questions, how did we fight off diseases before all that to the point where our species survived all these years before flu shots? cats didnt fight off the black plague all on their own did they? some bodies (and minds) are stronger than others and they DO fight off new diseases. the rest is a subject of evolution which i dont have enough characters to elaborate on

@WeskJago That is absurd. Your body cannot develop antibodies to a disease it has NEVER encountered. A new form of Influenza develops every year, so to be protected you need the flu shot. Although your body's immune system can and very likely will be capable of fighting off the flu, it is still safer to simply get a flu shot.
