catholics and protestants have killed each other by the millions. americans of south and north massacred each other. serb orthodox and croat catholics did the same. some people are pretty ignorant here. russian/chechen conflict is a complex, deep rooted problem, both sides have blood on their hands. it was the russian flamethrowers, an illegal war weapon, that killed the beslan victims. russia decided it'd rather kill the hostages than negotiate. victims sued russia afterward.
