How to install the versatile RAM Mount system on your PC using a replacement plate to cover the clutch fluid or brake fluid reservoir. Super easy fix that makes the long trips slightly more bearable by giving you a safe way to secure a wide variety of goodies.
Note: While you can buy a RAM holder for Apple's iPod Classic, I have not been able to use mine on the PC - there appears to be just enough vibration to render it useless.

  • could'nt you cut a piece of aluminum to size, install longer screws and achieve same thing? Also put a piece of rubber innertube between for vibration.

Thanks, your idea led to my idea & I saved $25.

    Thanks again

  • @axelberry1 Hey good luck with that MacGyver. Maybe you could make it out of paper clips that you steal from work & it'll be free!

  • I cannot find the mount listed on his website. Am I missing something, or does he no longer offer these for sale?

  • @lonewolfzeta Last I heard, Motorcycle Larry, who manufactures these plates, was struck and seriously hurt while bicycling somewhere on the west coast (where he lives). He's recovering well, but parts shipment & general order fulfillment has been virtually shut down. They may have taken the clutch/brake reservoir plate off their website temporarily?

  • Where can you find one of these mounts. I want one for my PC and for my Goldwing? they have the same covers luckily

The PC800 is a manual. They didn't make automatics back then. If you listen carefully he mentions changing out the clutch resevoir cover. The PC800 is a vtwin 800cc motor.

  • Is the PC an automatic? What kind of engine is in it???

  • It looks like you have a cruise control. Where can I get one?

    thanks

  • @drdougfir You adjust the devices so that it's not hard to see the mirrors. So far I haven't had an issue with being able to see anything.

The button on the handlebar controls a set of fog lamps in front of the radiator.
