I didn't drink it all... I cut about a cup-full of pine needles of the tip of Douglas Fir branches, and simmered it in hot water on the camp stove for about an hour. It turned out too bitter for drinking. I wanted to use pine needles, but couldn't find any, so I used Douglas Fir instead

  • Thanks for the tip PANWO76 - I will try that. Rampage368 - I was using the term pine needle kinda loosely, actually the needles were from our Douglas fur in the front yard, since no Pines close by.

On my other video, we did use Pine needles we got from our recent camping trip, and that tea did turn out better that the doug tea.

  • wat kind of pine needles are those the christmas trees or pine needle trees

  • Dont boil them directly, put the needles in a jar and pour boiling water over them. Let them sit for only 15 min. HIGH vitamin c and super good for you!
