clunk noises coming from front driver side when hitting bumps.

*update* pulled the coilover apart and found out it was a broken upper pillow ball bearing.

  • o ok. was it free bcuz of the warranty or how much was it?

  • @ISLANDASOULJA They were out of warranty when it happened, so no it wasn't free. I paid around 80 dollars for it shipped.

  • did you have to order a new strut or jus a new pillow mount? bcuz i think i broke my pillow ball bearing bcuz im getting some noise from my driver side strut too

  • @ISLANDASOULJA

I ordered a new pillow mount from Megan. If you take the coilover out and the top mount is really loose (easily movable) then it's probably the pillow mount that's bad.

  • are u sure they are blown. i had some clunk noises but it was just a loose strut nut.

  • actually it ended up being broken pillow mount ball bearing--had to replace the upper pillow mount.
