Great start to the video except the cameraman must have been a sledder as he kept shooting a vacant slope instead of following the sledders below. The comments must also be from sledders as their English as well as thier typing shows the intelligence involved.

@mearsbrandyn Have you ever stopped to dig a pit? do you have any avy training? Did you know the conditions that day or for the previous week? I know we can't stop these things, but that one could have been prevented.

Um for one that s a south face slop . Our North slopes are in the Dark. Sun never hits are north Slopes. If you notice their was plenty of lines up and no slide. Obviously was fairly stabe or the first GUY up would of let it rip. And when this happened we were in melt freeze spring conditions. Avy danger was low so why wouldnt we be going sledding . THey all had peeps probes shovels. Let us ride and if we die No loss to you so dont worry about it or US. Were sledders and thats what we do

Sledding is a lifestyle in the mountains and there are certain risks involved, if you do not like the risks, do not do it. I have sledded the mountains for 10 years now and am yet to find a sport that is more fun with more beautiful destinations.
It isn't a tragedy if you die doing something you love
