Very short clip of an afternoon practice by the RAF display team, the Red Arrows.
Please excuse my mum making silly noises during the second bit XD she loves listening to Jas Hawkers (Red 1) instructions over the scanner XD
From the Official Red Arrows web site
http://www.raf.mod.uk/reds/
"The world famous Red Arrows, based at Royal Air Force Scampton in Lincolnshire, celebrated Valentines Day by taking to the skies and practicing their much-loved heart manoeuvre near Lincoln City Centre.
The heart manoeuvre was performed during a practice sortie by the teams new Synchro Pair, Squadron Leader Ben Murphy (Red 6) and Flight Lieutenant Mike Ling (Red 7). Synchro Leader, Ben, said: The heart is one our most famous and favourite manoeuvres, and we are really excited to be practicing it near our home-town of Lincoln to celebrate Valentines Day.
"The heart is also one of the more demanding manoeuvres in our display. It sees Red 7 and myself flying at speeds of over 400mph, covering 6000 vertical feet, in around 40 seconds. Precision timing is everything, and we always hope to form the perfect heart for our fans in the UK and around the world."
