  • @CROCKETT984 no...with mine packard Bell is not gone!

  • for resolve you must disable usb hub driver ;)

  • My DV9051EA with a core 2 duo T5500 does the same noise. I think it started the first time I used unplugged (powered by the battery). It sounds louder when used this way.

I've sent twice to repair and they changed some plastic parts just to make me shut up.

I think that there is only one solution: change the processor. Does anyone have a T7200, T7400 or T7600 for me? Has anyone done?

  • My new toshiba (m305d-s4828) with an AMD turion X2 ultra makes the same exact noise as well. The ONLY solutions I've found are as follows: the sound 90% goes away when I plug in a USB cord to charge my V3m Razr, and the sound completely goes away if I'm using Ubuntu and disable the ATI Radeon 3100 onboard graphics. Both of these solutions are simply not practical, and Toshiba's customer service has been of little to no help and refuses to exchange my laptop for one that doesn't ring in my skull

  • i have a hp pavillion dv9339us and i have the same problem but when i connect the ac adaptor the sound goes down a little bit but if i disconnect it i can't stand it,i had problem with the fan making noise but that was fixed by hp due to overheating, now i don't have warranty to fix the pitch noise,if somebody knows a solution to this ...please

  • What is the program called where u see CPU used and the different temperatures of the different stuff inside the PC?

  • You arent the only one with this problem.. :(

    Still no fix?
