I have been to Danadong and been the "one gap" point what I am surprised is as it in the video as well, is no sight of a North Korean guard I have not seen one single NK guard all the time I was walking along this route and up the wall of china

it's obviously impossible to secure a border of any country completely, there would be always empty and unsecured spaces ;P

You should go back today. I was in Dandong a few months ago and a North Korean (or claimed to be one) lady kept following me saying she could take me over for 20 dollars. When I said I was American, she said her North Korean boss can assure my safety back to China. Too sketchy so I passed.

I walked into NK at Panmunjom (in the conference room), it was part of the tour that US Army gave US military visitors in 1987. Scary? Yes. Chance of capture? Not very likely.
When u guys went, that was pretty stupid. U R lucky u didn't get grabbed by NK border guards - like Laura Ling was.
I also agree that u probably "outed" a way for NK refugees to cross. While Tumen is more popular, u may have compromised a way out.
U 2 are fools for what u did. Lucky fools indeed. I hope u've grown up.

@azminivanracer We helped start an international school in China and so had some extra time and spending cash. Now we make TV shows full time about China for Blue Ocean Network which is broadcast across America now (like through Dish Network). Get out there and experience the world! Cheers!
