Gift of our Lives (Be Thou An Example)

This song is one of my favorite songs from the 2009 EFY CD.
Be Thou An Example is the 2009 theme for the youth this year, and I think that it is a wonderful theme! I have heard so many stories about how an example brought people to the church. One of my counclers for EFY was a convert to the church. He came to be a member because of the way his friends lived. He never knew that they were LDS, but he liked the way they lived. They always seemed to be happy, even if they were not doing the "popular" stuff. One day he moved and he met another Latter Day Saint. They became friends, and he did not know that he was LDS. One day this friend invited him to church and he really started to like it. One day he went to a stake activity and there were his old LDS friends that he had moved away from.
This is one of the many stories that I have heard. Be An Example in everything that you do.
"... Be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirt, in faith, in purity." - 1st Timothy 4:12
