  • I'd love that job! I'm going on a catwalk for a local boutique this weekend :D but it won't be anything like that

  • I Love this!

  • Models are a canvas. They're not supposed to stand out that much. They're not influenced either, They choose to be models, and that they want to be that thin. And sometimes they're just that thin naturally.

  • I Love this!

  • Same! Personally, I'm happy where I am, not fat, not skinny, and healthy. I guess there's some good things about models being so thin then..

  • Well theres a lot more awarness now, so i suppose thats a positive. Well i spose people want to distance themselvfes from looking unhealthy overweight, i know id prefer to be ghastly thin then hugely overweight.

  • everyone with their opinions: your opinion doesn't matter

let them do their jobs, stop giving your 'oh, i don't approve'

  • The clothes are good but does anyone find the models sexy? I've got a lifesize skeleton in my office, and if I animated it I imagine it would walk like that.

  • Hehe I'm in my teens and glad I'm not that thin, but I'm weird lol. Still, it's a shame there's so much pressure on us. Britain is obese, and yet there still seems to be so much pressure to be thin. I don't get how that works but we don't seem to have reached a balance. Fashion can be just as ridiculous without the pressure. People becoming desensitised could turn out to be a good thing, if no one notices anymore, would they bother? I doubt that would work somehow..

  • I agree with pittying them for their health, but the majority of runway models are teens ( some starting at 12), so they are bound to be thin at 12 and 6ft. And not just models feel pressure to be thin, everyone does ( i basically blame hollywood). I understand your point and agree to some extent on why they dont use realistic women, but fashion isnt realistic, more fantasy and dramatic intent. Maybe im just desensitized to how thin they are.
