Opening Night For The 82nd Annual NY Daily News Golden Gloves 01/28/09

B.B. King's host hopefuls from New York City and Long Island for the start of the nation's largest amateur boxing tournament. V.I.P. guests included boxing historian Bert Sugar, former boxing champion Iran Barkley, future champion Hans Perez and former NY Met Ron Darling. Fighters showcased: Antoine McLean, Brian Hart, John Conlon, David Johnson, David Thompson, Sean Beckles, Sean Monaghan, Joseph Williams, Jamaal Spence and Ahmad Mickens. Finals at The WAMU Theatre at Madison Square Garden April 16 & 17.
