i bought a kershaw knife that's labeled 'ken onion' on the handle and 1600 on the blade. i bought it new back in 2005. it doesn't spring open anymore like it used to when it was new. any idea why i have to work it to open it? there's no tightness when i open it. it just doesn't spring open anymore.

I love my Kershaw knives. I have the scallion, leek, and baby boa. They are all excellent.

I just bought this same knife. its very nice. the production date is Aug 08. so they still make them. I bought it at wal-mart

To ReturningHome2: This is a rather old Scallion. I have the same one. I bought it about 4 years back. I was very young then and it was the first auto-assisted knife i ever got. the one i bought was suprisingly from walmart and looked just like the one in the video straight out of the box. It's a great knife and i highly recommend it

just because yours has nov 06 on it doesnt mean that is the only time they made them. mine is december 7 and it is the same...dumbass
