This is my Second MSTS Version of Burlington Northern's Empire Builder/Morning Zephyr. Before I explain more, the idea from this came from an actual photograph of the train set in Illinois from the book, "Burlington Northern and It's Heritage." The cars are not exact but the paint is as well as the engine setup.

The Engines are a freeware set available for download at Trainsim.com Library (Registration required): http://www.trainsim.com/kdl.php?fid=24800

The Passenger Coaches are 4 different sets of payware available from BLW/ZT http://www.valleypass.com/Sales/Sales.htm :
-Great Northern Empire Builder (Orange)
-Great Northern Empire Builder (Big Sky Blue)
-Northern Pacific (The Stainless Steel Slumbercoach)
-Amtrak Heritage Northwest Set (The Burlington Northern Coaches)

The real train's setup was as follows: F9A&B (assumed), GN Big Sky Blue Baggage Car, GN Big Sky Blue Coach, Burlington Northern Vista Dome Coach, GN Big Sky Blue Vista Dome Coach, Burlington Northern Diner (The Real Model had a Broader White Stripe), CB&Q Sleeper (Slumbercoach Is the only Option I had), and GN Empire Builder Buffet/Lounge/Observation Dome (Again I worked with what I had). I chose the Slumbercoach because I know for a fact that the sleeper didn't say "California Zephyr" on it and I did research this. It would have said "BURLINGTON". But I didn't have a sleeper to match that. So I chose to use Northern Pacific's Stainless Steel Slumbercoach instead. It gives the same effect.

The route you are viewing is a freeware route and one of my favorites... A Dual Functional Railroad (ADFRR) Available here, from Hawk Badger: http://hawkdawg.com/MSTS/rts/adfrr.htm I am using a route activity called "Explore The ADFRR". This route is prebuilt to auto switch you on a tour of the route, over 9 hours worth of running. In the video I am just outside Baer's Interchange. I edited the activity in the Activity Editor, and replaced the player train with my own consist. I strongly suggest that anyone using the route have a mid range video card and processor to handle the graphics of this amazing freeware route.
