this guy is going ham!!!! and everything he ses is true but if you have only dumbbells do bench press with it and you will increase weight and get alote more balance when doing flat bar bench press it worked for me in only two weeks from 135 to 205 sounds crazy but is true.

NICE WORK your putting in keep it up, and stay with what works but protect your joints though if your going to go heavy wear a sweat shirt and strip as the weights get lighter...

@punk064 use stright and good form .. you dont need to do heavy weights when you begin .. so you can streangthen your balancing muscles man.. .. dont do as these guys .. they might have storng balancing muscles

@Lebron23KING23James remember decline works teh lower chest so if you have a lot of lower ches already you should not use this one...
for great chest focus on incline and develope that hard to get minor pectorial

what back exercise would i do instead of the hammer-machine rows? my gym doesnt have that machine. would t-bar rows work supersetted with the bench presses? - thx

@punk064 Yes, T-Bar or Barbell rows would be even better than the machine rows.

Good lifting. But its a bad habit to bench with your legs up in the air. This causes unwanted strain and stress on your lower spine and it can lead to long term damage and or back problems. If you want to eliminate leg drive just do decline benching instead, or floor presses with your feet spread out.
