  • A False Teacher! Jesus took our sins upon himself and was made the supreme sacrifice, but that didn't make Jesus a "sinner" therefore, he did NOT need to be born again!

Bill Johnson doesn't know what he's talking about.

  • @selah2011 with respect, The term born again or born from above does not pertain to Jesus in the sense that he somhow needed to be born from above after he had already been born through the virgin Marry. Jesus was born from above the first time. It is sinners that must be born again or born from above by face through faith.Jesus did not need to be born again since he is God!

  • Yashua (Jesus) was born from above when He resurrected. Even the greek word for resurrection means "to be born"...the Apostle Paul wrote that Christ has been "raised from the dead" and thus becoming THE FIRST BORN of many brethren. Life and Peace.

  • @musicprodave the problem is rests within the word "again" which is translated incorrectly in the English. Behind the English word "again" used in John 3:3 is the Greek word "anothen" and it doesn't mean again in the sense of repeating something another time or once more... that word anothen means "from above". In Mark 15:38 where it talks about veil of the temple being torn from "top" to bottom.....that word "top" is the same word that was incorrectly translated in John 3 as again...

  • Bill Johnson once gave a testimony that I can relate to. In fact, he's the only Pastor who has ever given that testimony yet I'm sure others have experienced it. He said one night in his bed, after he had called out to God, he experienced electrical touches up his legs and all over his body. Like a massage sort of, unsure how to explain it, but I needed to know what it was.. then I saw his testimony & was satisfied that it happens to someone else who communes with the Spirit of God

  • @selah2011 you might consider changing the title to mention "testimony" instead of "born again"

  • RELAX!!! Jesus is the first begotten from the dead. Revelation 1:5 "And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead...".

You all seem to enjoy "hunting heretics" instead of getting the gist of his message. Give your full testimonies!

  • let them be judge by there fruit all i got to say whats God doing through you critics not leading thousands of people to victory through christ like this hero of the faith

  • I find it questionable as to whether the term "born again" is appropriate to be used for Jesus' resurrection, but, in this case, he clearly states that he is stretching the meaning to include it. At the most, it's a matter of terminology. It's not that big a deal. I wouldn't use such a term for His resurrection myself though. The rest of Johnson's sermon seems doctrinally sound. And "born again" isn't even the main theme in this whole speech. It's misleading to make it the title.

  • @selah2011 With respect, the term "born again" is a term used by Jesus in John chapter three. It referrs to sinful man needing to be born again in the Spirit by recieving God's grace through faith in Christ for forgiveness of sin. To say Jesus was "Born Again" is to say that he had sin, and that is heretical. Jesus was resurrected from the dead. NOT BORN AGAIN!
