Here's some gameplay footage of the Turbografx-16 side-scroller/adventure The Dynastic Hero. This is basically the same game as Wonder Boy in Monster World on the Sega Genesis, but with better visuals and an amazing CD-quality soundtrack. Did I mention it's also extremely rare and costs around $400 on ebay?

The Dynastic Hero is coming to the US Wii Virtual Console on December 3. Monster Lair is the other December US VC release. I'll have a video of it up soon.

I've got both the Genesis and Turbo CD versions and it's clear to me that the Turbo version is better visually. Now the music might be CD quality but I still slightly prefer the Genesis music in many areas. Just my personal taste.

No, this title has NOT been confirmed for the Virtual Console. Just added because of all of the requests I was getting about it.

Incredible sound quality...I can't believe that's the original BGM.

Well it is a CD title, so it's not too surprising really. Great tunes on the CD throughout.

And yes the song is from the game. I always use a song from the actual game as the background music for the videos.
