Firefighters were joined by paramedics and police to stage dramatic drink driving accidents across the Bradford district.

The mock extrications were organised by West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service as part of Alcohol Awareness Week, which was spearheaded by Bradford Council.

An actor played the part of the drink driver and was cut from the car by firefighters from Bradford Fire Station.

Events were held in Bradford and Keighley. This extrication took place at Centenary Square in Bradford city centre. ITV Calendar's Chris Kiddy took part and the event was broadcast on the local evening news.
