High winds on Ardrossan approach pushes the crew and captain to show their
handling skills of the caledonian isles. Late 2006 .
As usual great commentary by I watson putting reassurance in 3 year old Issie that we are about to get on board that ferry .
What a load of rubbish! It's obvious that the guy doing all the talking has never been on a boat before. "A few broken glasses". From what? That's just the normal movement of the ship in those conditions and is not in any way extreme.

Was on the Arran ferry back in 2000 ish in high winds, the ferry stopped outside Ardrossan harbour, then came in slowly and still rocked over, about 45 deg, I was stood in the front observation lounge at the window, facing forward, so had a great view of the angles, the captain had asked everyone to sit, a lot of crockery smashed in the cafeteria, took some hanging on to stay on my feet too, took 10 min for the ferry to settle before berthing.
