These commercials aired on USA on May 16th, 1987.

1. Cheerios (UGH! I HATE evil tornadoes. Those things are total douchebags)
2. Bubble Yum OP Surfstakes (Even though it's clearly rotoscoped, the animation in this is still incredibly awesome)
3. Advil
4. Block Out (Buy our sunscreen...or else! DUN DUN DUN)
5. Cigarrest (Yet another ad for this stuff. I wonder if it actually works? Probably not)
6. Arm & Hammer Carpet Deodorizer (I love the brutal efficiency of just pointing to the graphic on the box)
7. Arm & Hammer Deodorizer Spray (It looks like she used a whole can of that stuff on her hair)
8. "On Top" and "Hit After Hit" from K-Tel Records
9. Cocoa Puffs (Awesome commercial. Popeye rocks)
10. Gillette Good News! Plus (The funniest disposable razor ad I've ever seen, no joke)
11. Honey Nut Cheerios (Who the hell eats a bowl of cereal while fishing?)
12. Crazy Calls (LOL at "The Rap")
13. Finesse
14. Promo for "Night Of The Living Dead"

  • now even buying a cassette tape or walkman is unheard of. Guess I need to upgrade to an IPOD... sigh.

  • oh wow walmart was still there in the 80s i didnt know that

  • I'm guessing Bernie Kopell didn't do a good job of holding onto his Love Boat money.

K-Tel--the iPod random shuffle of the 80s.

So, those kids are going to boat to a deserted island just to force Popeye and Sonny to eat Cocoa Puffs? I guess it's true that healthy veggies are no match for sugary cereal. Who I feel really sorry for is the Trix rabbit. Why couldn't those kids be in his commercials?

It must be nice to be able to hop on a plane and fly across the Atlantic just for dinner.

  • The Cheeros commerical. Why is it that mid/latter 80s commericals have the same jingle of a 70s era choir?

Cigarrest. LOL. I love how they NEVER explain or demostrate exactly how its supposed to work. Maybe that's why its so obsure.

  • RIP Arnold Stang the voice of Top Cat and "The Bee" from Honey Nut Cheerios. USA had the scariest goriest movies on on Saturday nights!

  • @brucevbrackenL I guess that's why "The Kid" became a doctor in real life once he was done shilling a relatively bland product. As for Sue, who knows...

  • I never knew tornadoes had personality! And you can pick them up and throw them! WOW!

The evil guy from Get Smart on the Cigarrest ad!

    OMG TIMBUK3 LOLOLOLOLOL thats great.

Billy Vera & THE BEATERS?! What? LOL

I wanna go to The Answering Machine Zone!

  • AHAHAHAHA,Oh my god.

I know this sounds cheap, but my dad kept a pack of those razors for when I started shaving.

    O my lord,the nostalgia. I probably have a razor or 2 of those,laying around.

  • Eating Cheerios never gave me godlike powers! Damn you, General Mills!

  • crazy calls heh heh that looks funny
