Chick Hatching Results in Brood of Chicks or Baby Chickens

When a chick hatches with others a brood of chicks or baby chickens is hatched creating a community known as the brood of the mother hen. Very cute little poultry will pluck your heart strings.

Actually the hens were rhode island reds and barred rocks - the rooster an aracana!
