Please explain to me why someone should get paid with taxpayer money just because they haven't gotten sick over the years.

the problem is that private employers can't hit taxpayers up for more money when they mismanage their operations into the red. When private employers finish paying their employees, they pay themselves with whatever is left after quarterly taxes, fees, rents, expenses, insurance, etc. Hitting up their customers with higher costs will risk decreasing revenue due to lower sales. Politicians don't worry about sales except at election time.

"What if the entire New Jersey Public Service Workforce from top to bottom were to all come down with Christie-Flu something that is going around the state and takes a 3 day bed rest to cure " I guess it will be like any normal day for the parasitic public workers of NJ.
