Sugar Barrington minott passed away at the University hospital, Kingston. july 11th 2010 from a long term illnes. Such a friendly bloke who well be greatly missed. His album Ghetto-Ology was the bomb but this is the tune that made me sit up and listen. A perfect rendition of what the dancehall fraternity wanted to hear, a slick backing and Sugar's sweet voice showcases just how it should be done. Sugar has always promoted lesser singers and writers. I remember transporting his Youthman Promotion(uk) sound system around London in the late 80s, a very competant outfit.

I met Sugar Minott on a flight to Jamaica in 1990. He was coming back from Japansplash with Pablove Black's band...He just radiated positive vibes all over the place. His smile was infectious. Rarely met a more good-natured person.
