The SS I'm talking about is my buddy's. Its now a low 12sec car trapping over 112+mph. Has added Lid, gears, long tubes, rear end, and a good tune!! Mother fucker is quick!!
I ran him on the pour piss 91octane that's only down here. Mind you I'm a very good driver and so is he Don't know if it would of made a difference if we were to exceed over 90+ since the LS1 traps over 100+ but he had me by a little and the MS6 is a high 13sec car capable of breaking mid 13's. Wow that MS6 driver can't drive for shit!! I ran a 00 SS with Intake/exhaust. My 06/MS6 was stock. we ran from a 15mph roll to about 80-90!! He slightly pulled on me after 3rd gear only got me by about half-car to 1car length!!
I can completely say on top end is where the LS1 dominates. Everybody knows that. A properly driven MS6 can hang with LS1's until certain speeds.

Still one of the best bang for the buck cars you can buy...Sadly I passed up a pewter 00 SS M6 because I was just test driving cars and not really looking to buy one. Kicking myself in the ass for buying my MS6 instead of the Camaro, oh well, Mazda is totalled now, my next car is going to be a WS6.

You raced a piece of shit LS1, maybe an LT1? ms6s are not fast enough to keep up stock for stock, i dont think a stock ms6 can hold a ls1 no more then mid 2nd gear.I went 13.1@107 completey bone stock on street tires [with a intake and no muffler i went 12.9@111 so mod for mod it will be even worse.]thats about 10mph faster then a stock ms6 and aleast 3/4 of a sec faster.
