Her name is Nikolaya and she is from the Rhodope Mountain village of Momchilovci. 14 years old, she is the youngest gaida player from the famous folklore group "100 Kaba Gaidi" (100 Bagpipes)

@Irishcdn70: the oldest celtic writings (rhunes) are found in sitovo - rhodopi mounteen, todays bulgaria, inhabitatet with same people - see genetic data. this means that before inhabiting british islands and the area, celts lived here, on the balkan semiisland. now You know the oldest. btw, the most precize instrument for time measuring, recognised by unesco nowadays, is the ancient bulgarian calendar, wich last recalibration was made before 5508 years.

@BagpiperDon You can not play rodopian melodies on highland bagpipe because our bagpipe (kaba gaida) has lower sound compared to the very high pitched tones of the highland bagpipes. They look alike but with very different soundig and pitch. :)
