"Chips", I love it. nice choice for theme song! My friend and I still practice going around tight corners riding side by side just as "John" and "Ponch" did in that TV program! We laugh our asses off when we do it singing that same song!

Love the K100LT but love the K1100LT better! Nice bike anyway. Oh yes, I liked CHIPS too, use to watch it when I was a kid. Recently bought series 1 and 2 on DVD. Oh, I was that inspired by CHIPS I joined the Police and became a Highway Patrol motorcyclist. I used to ride the K1100LT and R1150RT. Have left the cops now though, but I still have my K1100LT and recently bought an R1200RTSE. Both are nice bikes!

I really love those BMW GT motorcycle and I can say that I would have loved working with the Gendarme Patrol motorcycle unit, here in France. Did you see my other motorcycle video, the blue R1100RT ex-Custom? This R1100RT is very similar to the R1150RT that you use to work with... I like the R engines better than the K. The bi-cylinder (flat twin) feels more comfortable to me and seems a bit more authentic...

Yes Chips! I loved that serie too, I use to watch it when I was a kid. I would then ride my bicycle with buddies pretending being Poncherello or Jon!
It'd be fun to make a homemade film with that song!
Never too late to become a Highway Patrol motorcycle officer...
