of coarse the viper is a boat the miata will out handle the truck on a corner the viper only has the advantage on the straight away i have a miata and a chevy monte carlo 1998 a guy i know has a viper he drive s every now and then because of the fuel he bought it really cheap i parked next to him with the monte carlo that viper is wider longer looking then the monte i was shocked it's a boat lol

I personally know of a few miatas with 600+HP. Pretty neat in such a small car

@9992103 some are FASTER than vipers.... Plenty of 400hp+ miatas out there. Vs a 500hp viper..... Power to weight is everything.... Lol
I DO love vipers though... Especially the acr viper....

@9992103 I guess you don't understand, by $20k I meant the Monster Miata kit or one of the LS1 kits running around. No, a stock miata CERTAINLY isn't as fast as the Viper. Of course, fast is only one measurement of performance.

viper 80K miata now 4K in excellent condition lets see what we could do with 76K into that miata i think you would run out of stuff to do to it in under 50K hell even put 15-20K in the miata itll even beat the viper in the1/4

@MrAMERICANxMUSCLE it is pretty hillarious your even trying to make this stupid point, the viper is such an underengineered car its a joke, Some retard at mopar was sitting on the short bus licking the glass window when he saw a dodge truck, and a coupe of sorts drive by, and he was like "durrrrrrrrrrrrr, i like de big motor in the little car, yayyyyyyyy", and the miata is in the guinness book of records worlds best selling sports car....theres a reason. You bring shame upon american cars sir.
