  • So much can be said about the Dorsey Brothers. They split up in 1935 and came back together in 1953. Tommy died in 1956 and Jimmy one year later. They were the greatest of all time. Thanks for posting this movie.

  • I saw this film on late night TV years ago. I couldn't believe they got these guys to do it, since it was widely known they fought like crazy. As musicians and bandleaders and such, they achieved great success. The movie is a farce, but it depicts one of America's greatest era for music -- big band era. The Paul Whiteman footage is unforgettable and priceless IMHO

  • These guys are my cousins!!!

  • Gran película para conocer la vida de estos dos músicos. Me gusta especialmente el trombón de Tommy Dorsey y las voces que acompañan a sus grabaciones. Muchas gracias por la película, ya que no la encuentro en ninguna otra parte.

  • Fast forward through this drek to every musical number, poor Sarah Algood, so sweet but frankly, you want to kick her teeth in ecery time she and her husband intrude on the music.

  • i use to watch a great deal of TV growing up but i never heard of this show until now but it is a great show i wonder how many other shows i missed growing up in the 60s & 70s that i missed

  • @AMEwrestling How could they not have been back together until 53? This film was made in 47.

  • I Agree: the Dorsey Brothers were and are today fabolous. Congratulation and thanks for posting this movie wath allow us to know something more about these wonderful and unforgetables musicians and their orchestras. And thanks also a Amewrestling for his informations about both.
