  • i haven't heard a single motherfucker say anything about drivers! Not very helpful at all...

  • @xxvirus7xx - that's because it's "plug and play." lol.

  • I'm using my drum machine through a mbox mini 2 and garageband. I have the chord plugged into the headphone jack going into input 1 but when i play what ive recorded back, I only get sound on the left speaker, does anyone have any idea how to fix this??

  • @sputnitro - Check the recording settings in garage band and make it stereo instead of mono recording. Mono would only be for a microphone or bass guitar.

  • actually the keyboard i have is old school. it only has midi in/out( i used it to control reasons before i got my mbox 2 pro) so now im wondering if the midi connection via mbox 2pro could work in GB?

  • @AWUNMATERIAL - That will work or you can search for M audio uno 1 x 1. It takes a midi in/midi out and then merges it into a USB chord you can plug in.

  • I am sad to say on macbook pro "lion" this is not the case. You must download a driver and no seems to know which is the rite one.But your using desktop so you wont have that problem. You using a desktop is something i over looked yesterday or i wouldn't have commented.

  • Every time i record with mbox and garageband i cant hear the beat that is playing, everything mutes even when i select mono ON to hear my own voice i cant hear anything. I can only hear what i have recorded and the beat when the mbox is turned off or unplugged. PLEASE HELP how can i fix this problem?

  • Question. I recently got Pro Tools 8 LE with a Mbox. For some reason when I try to use the Mbox with Garageband, I have to unplug the mbox and then plug it back in to get it to work. The meter for the selected track when I first start up garageband will be stuck in the middle, like it is receiving some kind of signal, yet when I strum my guitar or test a mic, I get nothing. This is very annoying. Anyone know how I can fix this problem?

  • This is so boring I started fingering my ssshole

  • Iv'e plugged my guitar into the Mbox. plugged the Mbox into the computer, and the only two options are built in input and system settings.

  • So I've done everything and i have a mic connected to input 1 with an XLR cable and I'm not getting any single. The input selector in Garage Band is set to mono 1 and it doesn't work, in 1 or any.

    any ideas?

  • Hey Sean. Hoping you can help! I've got MBox 2 and GB set up as instructed with phantom pwr mic (phantom pwr is on)...it was working fine and then all the sudden, there is no signal recording! Any ideas???
