Question. I recently got Pro Tools 8 LE with a Mbox. For some reason when I try to use the Mbox with Garageband, I have to unplug the mbox and then plug it back in to get it to work. The meter for the selected track when I first start up garageband will be stuck in the middle, like it is receiving some kind of signal, yet when I strum my guitar or test a mic, I get nothing. This is very annoying. Anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Iv'e plugged my guitar into the Mbox. plugged the Mbox into the computer, and the only two options are built in input and system settings.

So I've done everything and i have a mic connected to input 1 with an XLR cable and I'm not getting any single. The input selector in Garage Band is set to mono 1 and it doesn't work, in 1 or any.
any ideas?

I'm using my drum machine through a mbox mini 2 and garageband. I have the chord plugged into the headphone jack going into input 1 but when i play what ive recorded back, I only get sound on the left speaker, does anyone have any idea how to fix this??

@sputnitro - Check the recording settings in garage band and make it stereo instead of mono recording. Mono would only be for a microphone or bass guitar.

actually the keyboard i have is old school. it only has midi in/out( i used it to control reasons before i got my mbox 2 pro) so now im wondering if the midi connection via mbox 2pro could work in GB?

@AWUNMATERIAL - That will work or you can search for M audio uno 1 x 1. It takes a midi in/midi out and then merges it into a USB chord you can plug in.
