Act of War: High Treason

Act of War: High Treason, Medium Settings, might not be the game (or expansion) you've possibly been hearing the most about the past year but it's still a very interesting game and looked good for it's time, though Company of Heroes has certainly taken it's place by now with it's visuals, performance, sounds and gameplay - but this game's still pretty interesting.

Recorded using Fraps, running 'bout a 30FPS solid while recording and twice while putting it on Standby - running fairly smooth, though this game eats more performance than it really should, and why is that? Could be some programming and textures that could have been used in better ways.

450W Greenerger PSU, with ASM technology
1GB DDR400 PC3200
Socket 939, nForce 4-motherboard running a AMD Athlon 64 3700+ ~2,3ghz processor
Gigabyte nVidia GeForce 7600GT, 256mb, PCI-E.

1 x 250GB 7200rpm 1 x 200GB 7200rpm

I'm not uploading these videos to be bragging about some kind of fancy rig or anything but to give you guys an idea for how performance on specific games might go running these affordable pieces of equipment.

Actually it isn't. Remember what Command & Conquer is and what EA whored it out to become once they bought up Westwood. This plays nothing like a true Command & Conquer-game.

A smart-ass note, I know. But it plays much like Generals.

Awesome! Are there a lot of players online? I'm gonna grab this as soon as I upgrade my computer a bit. And to be fair, Generals ain't so bad actually. EA just messed the game's potential because they thought it wouldn't give them the monies.

Barely any users online in the original game, I doubt there's any crowd in the expansion. I hope Atari will make a new game with this game as a platform, since it has Alot of potential.

This is one of the few games where u can use the terrain in its best, its the most realistic rts i have ever played!
