YouTube deleted my old account and all my videos but on special demand on my great YouTube's friend " GBWagner1 " I've uploaded my "Tribute To Ritchie Blackmore!"!! :)
... heh... and is true.... is really an example of music played loud and with a lot of inspiration!! :))

... I'll post the original "description" of video:

-------

Hi guys! : D
I've dedicated a small tribute to the greatest rock guitar player: Ritchie Blackmore!!
this is a simple homemade jam on a Deep Purple track that I love: "Knocking At Your Backdoor" :)

... I took the original song from the album "Perfect Strangers" and I got a
loop from the end where the riff is played by band and Blackmore
play a solo in complete freedom until the song fades out.
Instead of making a photomontage I mounted some Deep Purle concerts of '80...

I do not copied Blackmore, this is "my" style that obviously
took many influences from the Master and his playing on a piece I feel
even more ...
(I have many influences but also by the legendary Carlos Santana!: D)

the volume of my guitar (Fender Start USA) I left more specifically
top of the base so as not to cross over the two solos, otherwise he would not understand almost nothing!
... obviously there are still many things that I already know that it must improve, for ex, I repeat some phrasing in the long run more than once but playing
on a "loop" always the same I think is normal ...

... Well, thanks for attention and I hope this like to DP fans!!! : D

  • Man!,Amazing Tribute, You are Awesome!, Here I'm listening to the master in person, You know much about the king

  • this is absolutely brilliant!! thank u....

  • And here again! Now I sent it to a Hungarian DP tribute band as a "compulsory" hearing:) Their drummer is fantastic! I,ve discovered them only today.

  • I can help you with the trem tune problems, Luigi -- I have 30 strats and I too, have studied Blackmore's style for many years... first off, the nut is carved out a little wider for each string to allow smooth passage and less string friction; the trem claw on the back has 4 springs attached (3 top/1bottom) and back out the claw approx 1 3/4 inches and it will be like this on most early model strats. If you play a newer model, the spring cavity is longer and you will need to back it out more.
