Actually, they have blocked their own artists on several occasions. Take, for example, Death Cab for Cutie. Their videos, once released on YouTube, were blocked by WMG.
We can do one, or both, of these things: a petition and/or a boycott. If you can't take this anymore, take this comment and paste it to every muted YouTube video. This can't go on. This is a clear example of greed, and desperation.
Speak up, be heard, and don't stop for anything, because the moment you do, that's their victory.

It's so fucking stupid of WMG (and any other record label for that matter) to do this: it just makes me not want to by any of their products anymore... Just listen to them on Spotify etc.
BTW, I would have never bought a Björk record in my life if I hadn't heard it on YouTube... So there!
