yes, Gretzky was obiviously the best in the world. But I believe all of us know that out of the Europeans, Kurri was THE ultimate player.

who gives a fuck, does edmonton even matter?
-
@Superpizzabros Somewhat true, but I would put Jagr ahead of him.
-
@FFJabarr He IS better... I dunno, they're from different eras.
-
@karieero57 then messier on his left
-
@karieero57 there is no number 2 in a duo. they are both number 1.
-
Teemu Selanne was better in my honest opinion.

Edmonton does such a wonderful job with these ceremonies honoring the Oiler Greats!
So much is said about Kurri being in the shadow of Gretzky. That's a load of crap!
None of the other dynamic duo's of the league were scrutinized in such a way: Hull/Oates, Trottier/Bossy, Esposito/Orr, Lindros/LaClair, Jagr/Lemieux, Yzerman/Federov...the list goes on!
In fact, how many times throughout Gretzky's career was he paired up with someone that couldn't "Finnish" the job!
HUUTAA JOTTA KURRI!

suomalaiset puhuu englantia täällä toisilleen ja hehkuttaa oravaa

amazing player!!!!!!
Kimmo: That is total bs. According to Gretzky he would have never broken so many records without Kurri. After Gretzky was sold to La, Kurri still made over 100 points in Edmonton.
