Red Cabbage, Isopropyl Alcohol, Vinegar (Acetic Acid), Washing Soda (Sodium Carbonate). The isopropyl alcohol allows the flavin molecule to enter solution. A base (sodium carbonate) raises the pH and causes a color change to green. An acid lowers the pH and the color changes back to purple. There are gradations to the colors achievable. Blue can be obtained. I'm not sure the exact pH the color changes occur at, but I'm sure they can be found on the world wide interwebs.

  • Nice pink mixer! HAHAHA Cool video man. You should do these more often.

  • Add more acid and you'll turn it bright red.
