The Bloomberg ad campaign is Orwellian and Team Blooomberg aka Team Orwellian is bombarding citizens on the radio, tv and internet as if even on a subliminal level we will get the message and chant it "Mike as financial wiz savior" but the reality is the mayor made more billions during the economic meltdown while New Yorkers got laid off, took pay cuts and continue to fear losing their jobs. Sign the petition demanding Mike Bloomberg debate the issues rather than just bombard us with his over the top advertising campaign.

If Mike wants to keep his promises he can do so as a private citizen along with other billionaires and mega millionaires that could employ jobless New Yorks and continue to amp up their philanthropy.

*Memory just came to me -- when Mike Bloomberg was running for his first term his ad people used my legs -- I was wearing shorts and holding a sign "Thanks and gratitude" . Even though they did not use my face people recognized my legs and told me they saw me on tv. How ironic since if Mike Bloomberg had just hinted he had a tsunami of community crushing development I would have never voted for him and asked him to cease and desist using my legs and hand painted sign.

Do you think the mayor would agree to cap his spending to make it an even playing field for his opponents since he seems so confident ?

What you may not read in the newspapers but I hear when I hit the street with my postes is people are angry at the mayor for changing the law and they will not be voting for Team Bloomberg the Orwellian Team.

My first choice for mayor is Tony Avella, the only council member to have a perfect attendance record, vote no to extending term limits and no to city council giving themselves a raise. Please note that when city council gave themselves a raise the budget was such that the starting salary was lowered for the NYPD. Leaders don't give themselves a raise when our front lines starting salary is lowered.

Every TV show in NYC has a Bloomberg spot. It is so obnoxious. The ads contain lies such as his promise to keep or create 400,000 jobs which his own office says that is a goal that might not be achievable. Why so many ads? The election is not until November and it is only April!!! The money could be spent on more philanthropic causes, I'm sure. The only candidate for me is Tony Avella but the media are all but ignoring him. I wonder why? Got an answer for that Mayor Bloomturd?
