  • @AnonShawi actually the coke story is false. father christmas/etc is much older. sure santa is a combination of legendary figures, but St. nicholas was quite historical, and the main reason why Christians kept him along. bunnies reproduce so they're a symbol of new life, like eggs. sure there's a legend about mary magdalene turning an egg red by a miracle, but whatever you like. nobody worships rabbits or chocolate

  • @SwordofManticorE Santa is not pagan. St. Nicholas punched Arius in the face (he was that passionate against heresy). nobody worships the easter bunny (and nobody can explain what ancient "pagan" source he comes from anyway). halloween is no more or less pagan than any of those other holidays. they're harmless for anyone with mature faith. non-believers get the day off too, who knows maybe something will rub off?

  • @sukka113 - Maybe they Roman Catholic Church needs to grow young. We are a multi-cultural society. What better way to increase harmony than to welcome each other into our places of worship? We don't want separation and a 'my God is better than yours' mentallity. Every religeon preaches love and respect for others, what better way than this? If we embrace each other we stop fighting each other. Anyway, when it comes down to it, we may pray differently but it is still to the same God.

  • this is a mockery of the holy mass. Father Bob should be excomunicated for liturgical abuses.

  • The carpet is disgusting.

  • Bob Maguire is just as confused about the Bible as Bob Brown!

  • who gives a fuck? people who are not ignorant of what is going on. ignorant people doesn't give a fuck because they don't know the difference.

  • Who gives a fuck?

  • Call me when Fr. Bob is invited to a Mosque and sings Anima Christi

  • is this a Roman Catholic Church or an Anglican Church? It's nice to see people of different faith come together to pray but I dont think it was appropriate for a Muslim to chant the Azan or the Muslim call of prayer inside the church. I have no problem with the Allahuakbar ... , its the part where it says "I bear witness that Muhammad is the only messenger of God" that I have a problem with. We have our differences and we should be sensitive of these differences.
