Great road test of a Mercedes CLK Black Series. From the British series "Top Gear". It's in a completely different league than the BMW M3, according to the commentator.

  • you missed the whole point. don't get me wrong i like the zr1 but the purpose of this clk is to be slow. not too slow, just slower than those uncontrollable monsters thats all. this is a car designed for you, the driver, designed for fun. not for speed.

  • so his question in the beginning... about just going for a drive... i do it all the time... its the best thing in the world... everyone should do it

  • @25tab BMW's are more of a "driver's car" than the MB's. Both makes come from Germany so it's difficult to target low grade components on either makes. The only reason I did not buy a MB is that their motors don't last under hard, aggressive racing performance. MB's are luxury cars, not "drivers' cars"

  • He owns this car right?

  • 6:50 what music?

  • Merc CLK63 AMG: 66,000 pounds

Merc CLK63 AMG Black: 100,000 pounds

The look on Jeremy's face @ 4:21 : Priceless xD

  • @noloveinNEWJERSEY V Jealous!! :-)

  • @sarnieken thats really awesome. this summer i plan on driving to florida. to visit a friend. but i wanna drive instead of flying.

  • @noloveinNEWJERSEY Know that feeling. Once organised with a good friend of mine to drive from one end of the UK to the other. No real reason, just felt like doing it. :-)

  • @72and78chevy I'm not saying BMW's aren't brilliant to drive (they are). I'm saying they're underbuilt and they make use of low grade components.

  • @25tab You completely missed my point.

My point being: Jeremy Clarkson did test a DIFFERENT road car years ago that came with a similar "warning letter" stating how powerful the car is on the road. That car was the BMW E46 M3 CSL. Just saying this is not the first road car Clarkson test drove that came with a "warning letter."

Oh yeah, I do own a BMW. The E46 M3. But I respect the AMG series cars as well. ///Mpower!

  • @noloveinNEWJERSEY i agree my friend
