  • So, I'm stupid because I prefer Gnome over KDE because I've always had similar issues with Plasma? Thanks for letting me know.

  • What's the actual expected behaviour? Is e.g. the hidden recently plugged-in media devices icon supposed to pop-out the devices from the panel, or is the floating window thing not actually the problem?

  • @chriskindle 1. This doesn't happen in the stable release of KDE;

    2. It's a bug that's been introduced because of a new feature, which also happens in Beta Gnome releases and Beta Ubuntu releases;

    3. It's been recognised as a bug now, in the beta release, which means it will likely be fixed by 4.5.0 final.

    Stop trolling.
