@armba12113 typical! your comment is just stupid and i think you said it just to hurt someone "Watermelondrea" "artificial ghetto" whatever that is and im sure if you heard a African American with the names in this video they would still sound ghetto to you

What is the purpose of this video?
-
At least here you had an interpreter to start the ball rolling. It was agood game with the children it actually helped them learn a little of your language and you made a good attempt in repeating their names correctly. They may not haves asked for anything but it's customary for nomadic people to give and receive gifts. They gave their joy, friendship, time, assistance, smiles & themselves for you to take home in your camera, what did you give?

@armba12113 i understand what ur saying however u coulda said it different. I think of it as if african americans are of a different tribe. The culture is different and so are the names and language. Im black too and looking at it that way helps one to appreciate the differences in people. I love ny culture but i love other cultures too :)

From 0:38 in the video, why is that woman gesturing towards you? Is she telling you not to take that video? That's what it looks like...
Cause I just came back from Tanzania, and found a lot of people were sensitive about pictures, even when I was not taking pictures of them in particular...

Awwww they are soooo beautiful. I wish I was pure african with dark skin :-(

What concern is it of yours what black people name their children. The majority of our last names are those of the slave masters. We can name our children any name we want. We owed that much!
-
I thought they were going to say: Obamaniqua, Barakisha, Shanaynay, Shaniquah, Latifah, Watermelondrea, Harlemnishah, Comptonia, La'taniana'bo'vanashrianiquali
quanice, Guuuuurrrrrrllll, and so on... African american stop naming your kids with artificial ghetto names and learn some real african names like in this vid. -
How is asking kids their names a game?
-
I love the bright necklaces. The kids are so cute
those kids in ethiopia have white teeth because they dont have sweets and fatty foods, alcochol or tobacco, africans generally have good teeth
