Storm Eagle Stage Theme on MPC- Newly Remastered!

The first thing I need to do is thank Nycer4lyfe. He refused to put credit in where credit was due, so here it is: he recorded this video for me. Without him, it would have had horrible quality, if it were ever done at all.

As for the video...

This is a re-recording of the Storm Eagle stage theme from Mega Man X. Not only is the quality better, but I've changed a few things here and there to better the video. See if you can spot them...

@guymanbob If you liked this one, you should look at the one I did using the MMX soundfont, even without the soundfont being much more accurate I was able to improve my transcription a bit.

Nice, alot of the minor changes are great additions and make it sound closer to the OST. The one thing that I can't get over is the echo at the beginning. I'm not too big of a fan of it. Not even close enough to stop me from giving 5/5 though.

I was trying to avoid an echo, more like an attempt to sustain the guitar/bass sound, instead of the sudden cut-off.

@LinguistTroubadour Yeah, the slide boots are really the one thing that you need to make storm eagle several times easier. If you have those, you don't need his weakness (I don't actually know what his weakness is to tell the truth. Just goes to show how little I have needed to exploit it.)

Actually, I tried quitting chill penguin's level after getting the slide boots once and came back with fire. I just about got killed that time by his counter attack after getting flamed XD.

here's how i always go: chill penguin, storm eagle, flame mammoth, spark madrill, armored armadillo, boomer kuwanger, sting chameleon, launch octopus. I don't really need weapons to destroy the two birds - the rest work well by exploiting their weaknesses.

@ivenstorm the bosses have become clock work to me, that's why i don't need to worry about getting the body armor till i finally go to sting chameleon's stage. i think the only boss that still gets down on health, unless someone else gets lucky, is Boomer Kuwanger. All in all it's up to the person who's playing.

i disagree the best way to go is: Chill Penguin, Spark Mandrill, Storm Eagle, Flame Mammoth, Armored Armadillo, Launch Octopus, Boomer Kuwanger, Sting Chameleon

I just like eliminating Spark as quickly as possible. Usually i take out chill penguin, head to storm eagle just to get the helmet, head over to flame grab the arm buster, and finally to sting to grab the armor, while getting their heart tanks and health ups. then do all the bosses

@angrytigerP Actually, the best play through is 1) Chill Penguin (Dash) 2) Storm Eagle (Helmet) 3) Flame Mammoth (Buster) 4) Spark Mandrill 5) Armored Armadillo (Hadukan, all bosses beat, everything collected) 6) Boomer Kuwanger (Kuwanger's boomerangs cut launch's tenticles) 7) Launch Octopus 8) Sting Chameleon (Body Armor) Doing it this way it's easier and much faster to play through, including getting the one hit wonder hadukan from Armored Armadillo Stage.
