Sure you CAN, but is it a good idea? NO! ESPECIALLY if you have a vented soffit, the humidity will simply get sucked up into the attic. If that's what you want, why even vent it outdoors at all?
IMO...You should never vent a bathroom through a soffit.....Baths can get up to 100% humidity and all that moister will build up under your soffit and into the rafters causing mold.
