Wow, what a headtrip! I feel like I should be sitting on the floor in my parent's livingroom with a big bowl of macaroni, and this is playing during a commercial break while I'm watching "The Flintstones" at lunchtime! Thanks for posting!

Oh My Gosh!
I have sung this all my life, and drove my sister and her friend crazy singing this while out fishing up north - they were ready to throw me overboard!!!

Believe it or not, there was a comic strip about a fictional program host at CKCK TV in the 70's that ran in the New York TImes magazine a few years back

@kelamuni The song was produced in the US for different cities. Carol Gay Bell adapted the lyrics for Regina.

It almost seems like Dennis L was in VTR running
it..nice tracking! :) I ran into Carol Gay Bell(the writer of it) this afternoon and started humming it! This will be passed to the "old timers" email list.The color version is around on film in studio 61vault.(I could never remember the numbers after I left). Dave A has the audio track that we played on the 50 th parade float.
I was known as "The Mole" when I worked there(in VTR) and did stills for the 50th anniversary.

Hey, nice to hear from someone who worked there. I taped this off air sometime around 1993 on a 1983-vintage JVC VCR, which explains the poor tracking. :( I remember the colour version that used to pop up from time to time, and wouldn't mind seeing it again sometime.
