Johnny Mathis ~ My Funny Valentine ~ Live ~

Johnny sings this beautiful ballad by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart- and infuses his own emotionality that only he can bring. This was performed at a private party given for Johnny (accompanied by his guitarist Gil Reigers) for his 46th birthday in 1981. As the camera scans the faces in the audience the 'story' tells itself. Very glad to share this. Enjoy!

This is on my FB page,,,given to me by a friend,,,just had to listen to it again!!! can't believe I was sitting at the ferry port in France,,, because of a strike!!!!!,,,,,when I had tickets for this special lunch,,,,tears flowed,,,,oh YES!!!!!
