I am a being with one centre ofconsciousness, and my being or substance is humanbeing. God is a being and His being or substance is "God Being" and He exists eternally with three centres of consciousness as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. If I say that God is one and also is three that will be a contradiction. If I say that God is one in substance, essence and nature and exists with three centres of consciousness or persons, that is not a contradiction. It is hard to understand.
The Biblical concept of God is that there is one eternal being- indivisible, infinite. This one being of God is shared by three co-equal, co-eternal persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. There are three eternal persons described in Scripture. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are identified as being fully Deity- that is, the Bible teaches the deity of Christ and the Deity of the Holy Spirit.

2.)@Saji131,Now you r trying to say that Son of god doesn't mean that god beget a son, by saying this u r trying to fool yourself, becoz ur bible says '' For God So Loved The World, That He gave His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON." (John 3:16 king James version) u said that son of doesn't mean god beget a son and that son is Jesus, u tell me now whats the meaning of only BEGOTTEN SON. you mean this begotten son is not jesus? or this verse is wrong? there is something wrong with either you or your bible.
1.)@Saji131,Dear brother, who said that Allah beget a son through Mary, you don't know the basics of Islamic belief and alleged this foolishness in Qur'an, Allah says i Qur'an 'He begets not nor is He begotten" (Our'an 112:3) , and I appreciate that now u came to know that begetting a son by god is foolishness, and when did I say that Mary is a part of ur 3 in one gods association. I if I was thinking like that i would have told 4 in one god instead of 3 in one. !!!!!!
