Raceway Park Road Course Opening Day (S2000)

On 6 June 2008, the Raceway Park Road Course in Englishtown, NJ held its Grand Opening with a free track event. The video provides a couple of laps of the track shot from the in-car video setup in my S2000. It isn't that fast and the lines aren't great -- I'd never seen the course before and these were my first laps, so I was gradually learning the line after warming up the tires.

The course is pretty technical with lots of tight turns and isn't really a high speed course -- almost like it's a bg autocross coure. But it's great for a light, tossable car and if the organizers keep up with their plans it looks like they'll have some good events.

go to the next event. they finally did the long course which blows the short course out of the water. 2 straights for passing. More speed and the track has walls. The shoe (back end will be paved soon)
