Loadsa 70's & 80's reggae seem unobtainable nowadays! I been looking, for ages, for Mike Anthony - Open Your Heart (CHOOON)!
-
God I've been looking for this song for years,I long my 12" back in the 80's...Does anyone know if it can still be bought or downloaded ?
-
Nice one selecta. Good seeing a real piece of vinyl

I remember this tune from back in the day ,victor a wicked singer ,what's he up to now?
-
I think Victor got disillusioned with the music business because I vaguely remember the interview in he did in black echoes(now called echoes) stating that he was rip off in royalties. I didn't like that character he portrayed in marked for death because in portrayed the rastaman as a very wicked person involved in murder, drugs and all kinds of bad magic.. I liked him better as a singer because he had the talent. Those were nice days and takes me back to my youth.

ALWAYS loved the Slacks & Sovereigns first and foremost but this was always a close second. Quality nad longevity. Gwaan selector!!
This classic got to number one and right so and was followed up by MIss Attractive. What music. The only one of Victors I bought before that was let me let me go and under the assumed name of Norman St Collins. I still have all my vynal from those years I can never let real class go for what is on offer now. Peace and love to you all. Mikige you are the class that puts class onto the web for us all. God bless you.

Victor sang as Norman Collins? Noooo!!!! i have had these tunes since day one and never clicked. Let's be honest, it was not the in ting to get misty eyed over falsetto singers when i was a teenager so artist like Derrick Lara, Pat Kelly, 7th extension, etc, hardly got a look-in. we wanted MAN TUNES like Nicodemus and Lone Ranger. Lover's Rock meant i had to put all my change and walkman into my back pockets so it would'nt interfer wid mi rubbin!! Good times

radio? whats that? i aint had a listen to the wireless since 1996, i got fed up of djs chattin all over my fave tunes, i know they have to do it to stop tapedeck merchants but chattin thru MANY RIVERS TO CROSS WAS THE LAST STRAW!! if u want music like dirt u must ditch Limewire and go get SOULSEEK version1.56c (newer version might not have as much music sharing) i've downloaded over 30,000 tracks using it alone!! use Amazon or others to get free music previews. peace bruv
